This Chosen Place
 2 Chronicles 7:12-18

Intro: God was telling Solomon that His house was a chosen place, in vs. 16 God said His name would be there forever. God chose his house to be a special place. On Sunday morning is God’s house your first choice? On Sunday night is God’s house your first choice? On Wednesday night is God’s house your first choice? 1. Place of Sacrifice; vs. 12 House of sacrifice

A. there was a sacrifice made on Calvary to have this place called Church
B. there was sacrifices made in Wars to give us the freedom to worship
C. what kind of sacrifice do you make to go to Church

2. Place of People; vs. 14 If my people, which are called by my name

A. not just any people
B. His people
C. people called by his name

3. Place of Humbleness; vs. 14 shall humble themselves

A. humility means to bring down, bow the knee, bring into subjection
B. in this place we come down, and he is lifted up

4. Place of Prayer; vs. 14 and pray

A. his house is a house of prayer
B. a place to commune with God

5. Place of Seeking; vs. 14 seek my face

A. a place of seeking Gods will
B. a place to seek the face of God
C. a place to search for what you been missing in your life

6. Place of Turning; vs. 14 and turn from their wicked ways

A. turn for that which is wrong
B. you will never know the difference between right and wrong until you go to this chosen place
 C. to be transformed

7. Place of Healing; vs. 14 and will heal their land

A. the healing comes from the hearing from heaven and the forgiveness of sins
B. the healing of the land from which wrong has been done

Conclusion: The house of God is a chosen place. It is like no other building or place we can enter. Because all others are just buildings, but the house of God is this chosen place.
