The Four Biggest Fools in Town
* The word fool means stupid and silly. We live in a day when
people claim to be intelligent. The bible says that they are ever learning and
not able to come to the truth. The bible holds the truth for life eternal.
Reject this truth and there will be death eternal in a place called Hell.
We all have done things in the past that were stupid, silly,
or downright foolish, but the most foolish thing anyone can do is leave this
world without being born again by the Blood of the lamb. Let us look at the four
biggest fools in town.
1. The Atheist Fool; Psalm 53:1 The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God. Corrupt are they, and have done abominable iniquity: there is none that doeth good.
A. this fool says there is no God
B. this fool says it in his heart
2. The Modernist Fool; Luke 24: 25-27 Then he said unto them, O fools, and slow of heart to believe all that the prophets have spoken: Ought not Christ to have suffered these things, and to enter into his glory? And beginning at Moses and all the prophets, he expounded unto them in all the scriptures the things concerning himself.
A. a modernist is one who believes in God but does not believe the bible
B. they couldn’t believe in the resurrection

The Fool Who Neglects Salvation; Luke 12:16-20 And he spake a parable unto them, saying, The ground of a certain rich man brought forth plentifully: And he thought within himself, saying, What shall I do, because I have no room where to bestow my fruits? And he said, This will I do: I will pull down my barns, and build greater; and there will I bestow all my fruits and my goods. And I will say to my soul, Soul, thou hast much goods laid up for many years; take thine ease, eat, drink, and be merry. But God said unto him, Thou fool, this night thy soul shall be required of thee: then whose shall those things be, which thou hast provided?
