Needful for The House of Thy God
Ezra 7:13-27
Intro: In life there are a lot of things we need to survive everyday life. We need oxygen to breath, but we can’t live on this alone. We need water to drink and food to eat, but we can’t live on that alone. One element does not keep us alive, it is a combination of things. Same way for the house of God. There are elements involved, or needed in the house of God. Let us look at the things that are needed for the house of God.
1. Willing Offering: vs. 16
A. people offer willingly
B. people offer freely
C. people offer all they can find
2. Willing Alter: vs. 17
A. lay it all on the altar
B. let the alter, alter you
3. Willing Service: vs. 19
A. vessels ready for service
B. delivered vessels
4. Willing Obedience: vs. 23
A. obey God’s command
B. do what God commands with diligence
5. Willing Heart: vs. 27
A. willing from the heart
B. this is what makes the house of God beautiful, because your heart is in it to do the things of God
Conclusion: God is there at the house of God. But the question is are we willing to be there? What is needed of us in the House Of God?
